Welcome to the Washington State Perfusion Society!

This site was graciously built by volunteers from our organization. In fact, our whole society is made up of volunteers working together to provide:

1) High quality, affordable educational opportunities

2) A forum for communication with our colleagues throughout the state

3) A collective body to promote the professional interests of clinical perfusionists in the state of Washington

We hope that you will consider joining us!

Washington is a big state (71,362 square miles to be exact) composed of mountain ranges, large and not so large bodies of water, a volcano and much more! Busy schedules, locations, and weather make being cohesive difficult. It is our intention to rise against these challenges to offer a state society that works for all of us.

This website is just the beginning. In time, we hope to offer online, real time participation with our meetings. We hope to get creative with some of our venues in the future. I have heard suggestions of camping at Whidbey Island, wine-tasting in Walla Walla, and skiing near Leavenworth. Who knows? Collectively we are a small group of individuals practicing perfusion in the State of Washington, so your voice and participation DOES matter.
